They used to be so close and now they are apart in distance and in hearts. Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud rumors have reached a new level when the ginger royal admitted that they are ‘on different paths.’

Some even suggested that Prince William and Prince Harry’s split happened because the Sussex duo was reportedly ‘pushed away’ by William’s ‘bullying’.’ But the brothers assured CNN that those rumors are not true. Yet, if the speculations about the royal rivalry were true, the Duke of Cambridge would have been winning now.

Prince William’s new title

Every year, one lucky royal gets a chance to get a new title from the Queen. And in 2020, Prince William received that honor. The Queen appointed her grandson a Lord High Commissioner. It means that now the Duke of Cambridge will be representing the monarch at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.

It sounds like a fancy title, isn’t it? Well, it’s actually kind of a big deal in the royal circles. This year, Prince William as the Lord High Commissioner will be:

• making visits to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland;
• making speeches at the Assembly;
• hosting several functions as the monarch’s personal representative.

People think Prince Harry’s title should be taken away

As Prince William gets a new title, many royal fans think that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s title should be taken away from them.

Here in Canada, we support taking away the titles of Harry and Meghan and NO public funding for them. The Sussexes should not be allowed to have a separate and competing court here in Canada. Otherwise, we should just separate from the Monarchy and have our own Head of State.

Even though the royal couple wished to not use the HRH style of address, they remain the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It’s believed that the two wanted a different deal with the Palace rather than the one they had to accept.

Meghan and Harry wanted to be financially independent while still be able to represent Her Majesty but they faced an ultimatum and, as Harry pointed out in his speech, they had no choice but to leave the royal family completely. Their decision was met with a huge disappointment from fans and royals but we should respect it, nonetheless. They might ask to come back one day, who knows!
