Queen Elizabeth mentioned Archie in her Christmas speech
Following a lasting tradition, the Queen delivers her greeting speech on Christmas Day. This year was not an exception.

But the best part of the speech was when Her Majesty was talking about her family. In particular, the Queen made the sweetest remark about Harry and Meghan’s son Archie.
The Queen said:
I have been delighted to welcome our eighth great-grandchild into our family.
Another beautiful Christmas Message from The Queen. In it she refers to the Apollo 11 anniversary, D-Day anniversary, Archie’s birth, Jesus’s birth, and the importance of small steps to bring about change and setting aside our differences.

Why the Queen missed Archie’s christening
Royal author Katie Nicholl said that the Queen was over the moon to welcome Archie Harrison to the family. Katie added that once Her Majesty even joked that she would probably never see Harry as a father of his own kids.
Nicholl said:
She joked that she probably wouldn’t be around to see Harry have children.

There is still one ‘mystery’ left about Archie’s christening. Some fans still keep speculating why the Queen missed Harry and Meghan’s son’s ceremony.
The answer is pretty simple. The matter is that Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip had a royal engagement to attend that day, which was scheduled beforehand. That’s why they have been missed in the Sussexes’ portrait from Archie’s christening.

We have no doubts that Her Majesty adores all her grandchildren and great-grandkids and they love her back.
It was so sweet of her to mention Harry and Meghan’s son Archie in her Christmas Day speech. The Sussexes must be so touched! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to the royal family!
