Raising a child as a member of the royal family isn’t always easy. Apart from the general role the parent has to raise a smart, responsible, honest and morally upright person, they also have to consider how much of their childhood will be affected due to their fame.

These kids virtually grow up in front of the cameras and this can take its toll. So the royal parents have an added job of ensuring that their children are well-grounded despite growing up with adoring fans and being surrounded by luxury.

Who’s the most maternal royal mom?

Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and other royal moms were analyzed by body language expert Emily Wysock-Wright to determine which of them is the most maternal.

Kate Middleton’s children are cute and Meghan Markle’s body language has shown that she doesn’t mind being a mom either but are the duchesses equally as maternal?

Emily looked into the women in the British royal family and shared her findings with Express.

She said that while all the women appear to be close to their family, Kate Middleton will have to be the "most maternal."

This is because I’ve watched her and Prince William gracefully bring their three children into the Royal Society and make a stand against tradition, trying to ensure they have the most normal life as possible.

The expert, however, mentioned that based on the Queen’s body language, she and Princess Anne could be "wonderfully maternal" if this was considered as part of their roles.

I think the maternal differences between the generations are there as the Queen has a huge sense of duty and has always prioritized her role as Queen over mother.

She clarified that this doesn’t mean Queen Elizabeth is a "bad mother," it just means that her roles as the queen takes precedent.

The body language expert also praised Meghan Markle’s strong maternal instincts even though she only recently became a mom. The Duchess of Sussex was applauded for not falling into the pressure of presenting him to the public sooner than she was comfortable with.

From what I have seen so far, Meghan appears to be the most overprotective.

Kate Middleton’s children take priority

Another body language expert Patti Wood told GoodHousekeeping that the Duchess of Cambridge’s behavior proves that her children always come first.

Patti pointed out that even when in public with her children, Kate’s focus is almost always on her kids rather than the cameras or reporters.

It’s a way of creating a special memory despite the pomp and circumstance.

The duchess also maintains her appearance as the fun and happy mom in the face of all the attention she and her family receives.

Being a mother, regardless of fame, is not a walk in the park and being a working mother even less so. But when you combine having these duties with dealing with public scrutiny while raising your child, it can push even the best
