Meet Christopher Hopkins
These days, the world knows him as one of the most influential stylists in the business. He has garnered a lot of fame thanks to his YouTube account where he displays some of the most amazing makeovers we’ve ever seen.
Clearly, he’s considered a genius considering that he now boasts of over 200,000 subscribers on the platform.
Christopher’s YouTube account isn’t his first on-air production. According to his website, he has been making waves with his TV makeovers since the 1990s. So if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that he’s experienced in his craft.
After spending many years as an on-air talent makeup artist in the Hubbard Broadcasting building, he launched his company Christopher Hopkins Image Center, in 1994. Since then, he has made several TV appearances including on the Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show and more.
An amazing transformation
Beverlie came to Christopher Hopkins the Makeoverguy with one goal in mind.
I need to be beautiful again. I feel like I’m 5000 years old.
The 62-year-old woman shared that she had had to overcome many sad experiences in the last few years including the loss of her son. However, she was ready to "quit being depressed" and find the happy person on the inside.
Christopher Hopkins got to work on Beverlie and by the time he was done, she looked like a whole different woman. Her long hair was transformed completely and she ended up looking absolutely gorgeous with a shorter, more vibrant hairstyle.
Beverlie’s makeup also helped her to look incredible as well. Christopher did succeed in bringing out the beauty within.

Long hair vs short hair
If you’d spent decades of your life rocking long hair, you may be wondering if chopping it off can be a great look for you. It’s one of those decisions you battle with for a while because yes, the length of your hair can drastically affect your looks.
As it turns out, there’s a way to figure this out before grabbing the scissors. Hairstyle expert Giles Robinson revealed an interesting method while speaking with Elle Magazine.

In the method, which was discovered by John Frieda of John Frieda Salons UK, whether or not you’d look better with short hair is determined by your jaw bone. And to get your answer, you’d need a pencil and a ruler.
First, place the pencil under your chin horizontally and then place a ruler under your ear vertically. Measure the intersection between the pencil and the ruler. If you get 2.25" then short hair will be perfect for you. Otherwise, long hair is your best bet.
