Can a person go from drab to fab in an instant? Thanks to the power of makeup, this is indeed possible. And it serves as an inspiration for those who want something similar.

Psychologist Vivian Diller once explained the link between looking good and feeling good. She pointed out that as many women get older, they may start to feel a bit self-conscious about their changing appearance.

While there are so many things we can’t change when it comes to getting older, there are some aspects that can actually be transformed. Diller pointed out that experiencing transformations can help many women feel differently and more confidently about their aging appearance.

The power behind a good makeover is something that attracts many of us. This is one of the reasons why stylists and makeover pros like Christopher Hopkins have achieved a lot of fame over time.

Hopkins, in particular, has dedicated much of his career to bringing out the beauty in women aged 40 and beyond. His goal is to help any woman reclaim her youth while also proving to others that getting older doesn’t have to mean letting yourself go.

An impressive transformation

57-year-old Tina had only one goal in mind when she approached Christopher for a makeover.

I feel like I’ve lost a bit of my shine. And I’m hoping that this will help me get that back.

To prove that her shine can come back, Christopher Hopkins the makeover guy got to work. He transformed Tina’s hair and makeup, leaving her with a brand new appearance.

Her hairstyle underwent a huge change as well. She initially had on a bland dark-haired look which was eventually transformed into vivaciously curly brown hue with bangs.

Fans absolutely loved this makeover and had nothing but fantastic things to say about Tina when she was done.

@Susan Wimmer:

Yes she does shine with her new look! That smile just radiates now!!

Josie’s Journey:

Wow, those eyes! She has steamy bedroom eyes now – love that! Funny how that little tweak Christopher did to her bangs made such a big difference. That long bang/center part looks sexy on her.

@Candace Roberts:

Beautiful, perfect makeover. Lovely and perfect for your age, you look 10-15 years younger.

@Susan Hull:

She looks at least 10 years younger and very pretty. Well done! ❤️

@CH Frau:

Wow, wow, wow!! She looks like 20 years younger! Great job! Enjoy honey!

  • Find a stylist: It took Christopher Hopkins to help this woman discover her style. You too can turn to a pro for help when needed. Sometimes, they have perspectives that can come in handy.
  • Make smart decisions: Hypnotherapist and author Chloe Brotheridge explained that one way to ensure you make the right choice is to make a decision only when you’re in the right frame of mind. For instance, avoid doing the big chop at a time of emotional upheaval or frustration.
  • Careful with photos: You may see a picture of something you like, but to avoid getting the wrong look, make sure that you know exactly what it is you want to incorporate in that look. Stylist Jordan Gar
