It isn’t just women that are worried about going gray. Much of how we feel is connected to how we look. And while we don’t have much control of our body type, height, etc, what we can control is our hair. So if there’s a way to make it look different and suit our needs, we sure will.

A 2013 survey found that going gray is one of the top-three fears men have about getting old. 75% of men have this worry. Fascinatingly, two of the top three concerns have to do with hair as 94% of men are worried about going bald too. This tells us that hair appearance and aging are closely linked.
When it comes to going gray, there’s only so much one can do to prevent nature from taking its course. According to a Madison Reed senior colorist, Rachael Thomas, genetics play a major role in when a person will start getting gray hair and how much they will get.

However, since our confidence and is largely impacted by how we look, it makes sense that we’ll always find ways to turn gray hair into an asset rather than something to be ashamed of. This is where the spirit of experimentation comes in.
According to PsychologyToday, it’s totally normal to want your hair to reflect who you are as, whether you like it or not, people will judge you based on it. If it’s confidence that you seek, a style change may be your best bet.
A brand new look
Before we go into this amazing makeover, let’s learn a bit more about the talented man responsible for such a creation.
Based on his social media description, Jason Makki is a hairstylist and senior barber based on Dubai. He has been in this line of work since 2006 and is obviously dedicated to changing lives by giving people the kind of hairstyle they can be proud of.
In this makeover video, Jason met a silver-haired man who was obviously ready for a brand new look. From his appearance, you can easily tell that there was beauty underneath the man’s gruff exterior.
Jason went to work on him and the result was incredible. There was a lot of gray in his hair in the beginning but by the time the stylist was done with this man’s makeover, he looked drastically different.
For those who adored his hair length, it was a relief to see that Jason didn’t chop it all off. He just gave it a luscious new color that balanced the tufts of gray on his beard.

Some great tips for men with graying hair
When your hair starts to show that silver hue, it’s tempting to want to quickly grab a dye and turn back the hands of time. But hiding the gray hair isn’t your only option.
MensHealth offers some advice on what to do instead.
- Keep it shiny: Gray hair looks unattractive when it’s dull, drab and unclean. So the first thing you need to do is find the right shampoo that suits your hair type and gives it that extra glow.
- A little color: Even if you choose to dye your hair, don’t overdo it. Hints of gray have been known to be quite attractive, take Goerge Clooney for instance.
- Keep things short: Graying hair on men often looks better when it’s short. If you grow it out, it may look wiry and thin.
