Proud Grandma Priscilla Presley Posts Sweet Birthday Message To Lisa Marie Presley's Twins As They Turn 11
Priscilla Presley has shown herself to be quite the dutiful grandma over and over again. And her fans love her for it.
A few weeks ago, she shared some updates about her twin granddaughters with Us Weekly. In the interview, she revealed that the girls, who Priscilla’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley shares with ex Michael Lockwood, may already be understanding more about their grandfather’s legacy.
Priscilla said that Harper and Finley are aware of who Elvis Presley was and love their late granddad’s music.
And they’re in awe when they see how many people come to the vigil and light candles at the [annual] candlelit vigil [at Graceland].
Happy Birthday to the girls
A few days ago, proud grandma Priscilla who was married to the late rock and roll legend Elvis, posted a sweet birthday message in celebration of Harper and Finley.
She shared a bright and colorful photo and in the caption, she wrote,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Harper and Finley. I love you, NONA.
As expected, this inspired some of her fans to post comments with their own birthday wishes to the kids too, who just turned 11.
It’s heartwarming to see the beautiful young girls receive so much love on their birthday.
Grandma’s nickname
Fans may be wondering why Priscilla chose to sign her birthday message to the girls with the name "NONA."
Evidently, the grandmother chose not to have her grandkids call her grandma or other similar derivatives like "nana." Rather, as she once revealed to ETOnline, the kids call her Nona.
That’s a pretty unique name and we imagine Harper and Finley are already used to calling their grandmother by that moniker.
The Presley family seems so sweet and loving to each other. Here’s wishing the twins many more happy years.
