Nowadays, we can’t imagine our life without driving a car. But in order to use it, we need to pass the driving test and get a license. Turned out, Queen Elizabeth, who is now in her 90s, has never passed the driving test, but she drives anyway. Is she taking advantage of her royal status?

Now, she still feels rather comfortable behind the wheel, and often insists on driving herself to and from various locations, especially around her private estate.
According to the royal protocol, the Queen should be chauffeured to events. But when she’s not in public, she prefers to take the driver’s seat. Reportedly, Queen Elizabeth is the one who taught her children how to drive.

Queen Elizabeth never had to pass the driving test, and she’s allowed to drive without a number plate on her state car.

By the way, she doesn’t need a passport either. During her reign, Queen Elizabeth has visited 116 countries without having a passport. Since all British passports are issued in the Queen’s name, she doesn’t need one.
