Matt Smith says he’s “Sorry” for Meghan Markle
In his recent interview Matt Smith, who plays Prince Philip in the drama series The Crown, expressed his attitude to the future faith of the royal bride, Megan Markle. The actor said he’s sorry for Megan because he understands how hard it will be to change her life completely.

I feel sorry for her. It’s such a transition in her life, and it’s such a huge thing to take on.
Smith explains his opinion by the fact that he has also been in the royal’s shoes during his play in the series. The Crown made the actor think about all the difficulties which members of the royal family have to go through, especially regarding their personal life.
However, the actor added that Markle is definitely not that kind of person who is afraid of difficulties and her new royal role could be an exciting adventure.
