This year’s Venice International Film Festival kicked off on August 29 and is scheduled to run until September 8^th. As expected, movie stars are gathering to showcase some of the best films of the year, and of course, their breath-taking attires.

For Blanchett and Lady Gaga, it was all about the feathers. Both women could easily pass for angels on the red carpet and sure had heads turning all evening.

Cate Blanchett and Lady Gaga starred alongside first-time director Bradley Cooper in “A Star Is Born.” The film is the third remake of a 1937 movie with the same name. Cooper’s film premiered at the Venice Festival on August 21.

Members of the jury for the event this year include Christoph Waltz, Taika Waititi, Naomi Watts, Malgorzata Szumowska, Trine Dyrholm, Nicole Garcia, Sylvia Chang, and Paolo Genovese and president of the jury Guillermo Del Toro.
