Of course, his friend Dolly Parton couldn’t help but took to Twitter to congratulate the singer on the occasion. The 72-year-old shared two pictures of the iconic duo singing on stage and captioned them in the sweetest way possible:

Throughout their careers that span decades, Parton and Rogers have put out many country hits as a duo. But they are not only stage partners but also friends that can boast about a more than 30-year friendship.
When asked about Kenny in interviews, Dolly has nothing but good things to say. For example, in a 2017 interview to CMT, the singer revealed that she felt like she and Rogers were soulmates:
Kenny’s friendship means more to me than our hit records. Actually, we’re kind of soul mates. He’s from Texas and I’m from Tennessee. There’s an old famous country song ‘T for Texas, T for Tennessee.’ We always sing that to each other. I love his singing. I love his voice.
