In a big family, it is, sometimes, not easy to maintain good relations with everybody. Especially, when you are a member of the royal family, and your every step is being watched by public.
Kate Middleton and Camila Parker-Bowles allegedly have not the best relationships. In his book Game of Crowns, Christopher Andersen writes about complicated dynamics and rivalry between the Queen, Camilla Parker-Bowles, and Kate Middleton.

In the exclusive interview with The Daily Beast, Cristopher explained the reason why Camilla considered Kate to be a bad partner for William:
She did not look at Kate as someone who was worthy of joining the royal family. Kate is the first working-class woman to be accepted into the royal family. She is descended from coal miners, and her mother was a flight attendant. So for all those reasons, Camilla never really felt that Kate Middleton, as an individual, and the Middleton family, as a whole, were going to be worthy of entering into the royal family.

But Camilla Parker-Bowles’ son, Tom Parker-Bowles, denies these rumors. Moreover, he claims both woman enjoy a warm relationship between them.

Tom says his mother Camilla and Kate are friends. In the interview with Daily Mail, he said:
They get on fine. I don’t think there’s any truth to [the rumours of tension].

Nevertheless, not everyone believes him. Especially, after Kate Middleton gave Camilla a major side-eye at the royal wedding. Experts claim that this gesture was a rather dignified way to reprimand Camilla.
