Animal Rescue Team Faces One Of The Cruelest Instances Of Mistreatment In Their Practice

There are many people around the world who are involved in rescuing abandoned and abused animals. Howl of a Dog is a small nonprofit animal rescue organization in Romania, which strives to save stray dogs and prevent crimes committed against them.

Recently, we’ve come across a story of wonderful rescue performed by the Romanian animal activists, which filled our hearts with joy and hope, so we decided to share it with you.
The rescue of seven newborn puppies
According to Howl of the Dog, one cold and rainy autumn morning, someone heard the yelps of puppies coming from the tall grass on the side of a country road and informed the rescuers. When they promptly arrived, they realized that the situation was much sadder and crueler than they’d expected.

There they found newborn puppies abandoned in a bag. The 7 puppies were so young that they still had their umbilical cords attached.

The rescuers told that it was so cold and damp that the pups’ body temperature was extremely low. Howl of the Dog did everything possible to keep them alive.

Only three survived
Despite the professional care and love, four of the puppies died shortly after arriving at the center. Only three were saved.

The rescuers fed them and kept them warm, and, beating the odds, Lizzie, Taz, and Bernie managed to hold on to life. By the way, Bernie was since adopted by a loving family!

As expected, the public response has been tremendous. In fact, it was thanks to the video that they managed to find Bernie a new home. People are endlessly grateful to the animal rescuers for their great effort.

you are wonderful, beautiful, amazing people! animals are innocent, defenseless creatures who just want to be loved & give love. i believe if you hurt or endanger an animal, you should be prosecuted the same as you would if it was a child. bless you & all you do, how can i donate?

As you can see, doing good not only makes a lot of people feel better, but can save innocent lives. Even if you are not fond of animals, don’t hurt them; they cannot defend themselves. We salute this wonderful Romanian organization and hope that they are able to carry on doing their amazing job.
