The Duchess of Sussex may be making strides when it comes to her life as a royal, but things between her and her family, especially her father Thomas Markle, are far from perfect.
Meghan’s estranged father recently revealed, in an interview with Daily Mail, that he would love to get to know his grandson Archie. He said that even having a picture of Archie to frame and place on his wall would have been great.

Thomas also expressed how much he loved his daughter in the interview and how he would like nothing more than to have a better relationship with her.
Meghan’s disapproval
The Duchess of Sussex hasn’t officially responded to this plea by her father but reports are saying she isn’t planning on mending fences anytime soon. In addition, she does not intend to let her son meet his grandfather.
The Sun reported that sources say Meghan has decided to cut all ties with her father due to his public betrayals.
It was also reported that Harry and Meghan have no intention of letting 75-year-old Thomas meet his nearly four-month-old grandson. One source reportedly said:
It’s a terribly sad situation but Meghan has made the very difficult decision that she doesn’t have an active relationship with her father any more.
