There are a few things that remind us that Christmas is in the air. Apart from Santa Claus and the odd decorated tree, certain musical renditions invoke the holiday spirit and bring back a flood of new memories.

This was undoubtedly the case as sensational American artist Kelly Clarkson teamed up with two other outstanding female country singers to thrill fans at the Miracle on Broadway concert.

The other two were her mother-in-law, Reba McEntire, and Trisha Yearwood. Although the trio had never actually performed together, the harmony in their voices suggested otherwise.

Their combined sonorous delivery of the classic Christmas song set an eerie tone for the night.

The entire performance could have been pulled from an actual Christmas night. The women’s stunning vocals blended well to provide fans with a taste of rich, unadulterated music.

Clarkson certainly looked the part, draped in a gorgeous red dress as she wowed the audience alongside her two co-stars.

The American Idol winner put on the kind of display that has endeared her to American hearts for nearly two decades.

With Reba and Trisha showing the full range of their musical diversity, ‘Silent Night’ took on another dimension. This was a colorful, masterful display of artistic skill from three of the best female singers around.

Although the night did not belong to any of the individuals on the show, Reba McEntire graciously admitted that she was in awe of her two co-performers and stated that:

Millions of fans tuned in to watch the performance on television while the people who saw the performance live will certainly count themselves very lucky.

Apart from being a great holiday treat for the fans, it remains one of the most excellent musical performances from any group of singers anywhere across the globe.
