Where Did Her Freckles Go? People Noticed That One Magazine Has Airbrushed Meghan Markle's Signature Feature
With the royal wedding being just around the corner, more and more top magazines want to put the photo of the gorgeous bride-to-be Meghan Markle on the cover.

However, when Elle France released its December issue, many people were puzzled with what they saw on the cover.
One of Meghan’s signature features – her lovely freckles – were nowhere to be found.

People rushed to assume that Elle France decided to do what many magazines keep doing these days – airbrush the picture. But it turned out that the magazine used an old photo. Another magazine, Gritty Pretty, used the same shot for their cover in 2015 and the picture was already photoshopped back then.

Why would it be so important whether they did or did not airbrush her photos? The thing is, Meghan has always been pretty vocal about her not wanting magazines to do anything with her freckles.

And every time she gets a chance, she talks openly about this issue, just like in an interview with Allure in April 2017.
To this day, my pet peeve is when my skin tone is changed and my freckles are airbrushed out of a photo shoot.
She then added a few words of reassurance for her “freckle-faced friends":
I will share with you something my dad told me when I was younger: ‘A face without freckles is a night without stars.’
And, as silly as it may seem at first glance, it may actually be a rather important message for many girls who don’t feel confident because their skin is not flawless.

Usually, Meghan appears on magazine covers with her natural look and all her lovely freckles being 100 percent visible.
In Vanity Fair’s October cover story, @MeghanMarkle opens up about living in the spotlight, starring on @Suits_USA, and her whirlwind royal romance: "I think it’s really simple. We’re two people who are really happy and in love." Photograph by @therealpeterlindbergh.
Even in her daily life, Prince Harry’s fiancee does not seem to try and hide her signature feature.

Just recently, Meghan and Harry visited Reprezent Radio in Brixton and the Suits star looked head-to-toe gorgeous, even with her messy bun and these cute freckles.
Meghan Markle will marry Prince Harry later this year. The ceremony will be held at St. George’s Chapel on May 19.
