Here’s what Karen told about her conversation with Meghan outside St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day:
I said congratulations on your baby and she said, "Thank you". ‘I then asked her if she was excited and she said "Yes we are, we’re nearly there" as she cradled her bump. I told her to enjoy every moment as being a mother is the best feeling. She smiled said thank you, and moved on.
According to Karen, Prince Harry’s wife didn’t reveal the exact date but she implied that it’s not long before it happens.
Hundreds of well-wishers turned out to see the royal family attend the Christmas Day church service on the Sandringham estate. The Duke of Edinburgh and Duchess of Cornwall both missed the service.
