In October 2018, Selma Blair opened up about her scary diagnosis — the American actress revealed via her Instagram page that she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
She’s been battling the disease for almost a year and isn’t ashamed to admit she’s disabled and usually uses a cane to walk.
Back in June 2019, Selma Blair announced her decision to shave all her hair following MS diagnosis, and her eight-year-old son Arthur helped his ill mother do so.
Little Arthur, whom Blair shares with ex Jason Bleick, has been beside his mom since the very beginning like a real hero.
On July 25, the Hollywood star took her Instagram to showcase her new hairstyle — a completely bald head. In the picture, smiling Selma wears a black & white striped T-shirt, jeans, and a pair of white sneakers as she leans onto a yellow bike. She also added a lengthy message:
… I am immunocompromised for next three months at least. So no kisses, please. I wanted to make sure all the complications here were my private space. And we got through brilliantly.
At the end of the post, the 47-year-old thanked everybody for the support, prayers, and well wishes, and concluded with congratulations on her son’s birthday the same day.
