Fans know that Roseanne Barr met her first husband Tom Arnold on set. At that time, Tom worked as one of the show screenwriters.
Roseanne and Tom became friends pretty soon. However, it appeared that Barr wanted more. For this reason, when she found out that Arnold was attracted to her co-star Laurie Metcalf, she warned him not to date Laurie.

The funniest thing is that Roseanne became a rule-breaker herself as she married Tom after he stepped back from dating Metcalf.
