Rihanna Is On The Cover Of Vogue Paris

World famous popstar and makeup mogu, Rihanna, gets less than four hours of sleep every night. The 29 year old songstress described her sleep habits in a revealing interview with Vogue Paris’s December issue, which she covers and is the guest editor. The artist appears on three different covers for the magazine, shot by Jean-Paul Goude, Juergen Teller, and photographers duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The covers feature the star in different stylish poses. In one shot, Rihanna is lounging in a fluffy yellow stole and towel on her head. Another cover features her in a black leather beret with netted veil and red lipstick. The third is a black and white shot of the singer smilng at the camera.

The pretty star opened up about some of her biggest inspirations, who include Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Tina Turner, her mother, Monica Fenty, and Princess Diana.

Rihanna Sleeps Less Than Four Hours

The singer’s revealed her sleeping habits in the image caption for a photo showing Rihanna leaping into a pool, where she talks about what she does with her free time. According to her:

I have a lot of trouble switching off. Even when I get home early, which means before 1 am, I start binge-watching shows or documentaries, which I love, […] I can’t go straight to bed. As a matter of fact, I only sleep three or four hours a night.

Why People Need To Sleep More

Rihanna appears to be getting by without what most would consider a full night’s sleep, but most people cannot function without sleeping properly.

There are several reasons why a lot of us cannot sleep properly. These include the following:

  • leg cramps;
  • your head is swarming with ideas;
  • excessive sweating, irregular temperatures;
  • excessive usage of electonic devices;
  • stress;
  • sleep paralysis;
  • excessive use of the bathroom;
  • leaving the television on;
  • an uncomfortable mattress, etc.

It is essential that we get a good night’s sleep because it plays a very important part in our physical health and contributes to our overall well being.
