The daytime show, powered by NBC, is hosted by the award-winning singer and songwriter. According to the network, the goal of the show was to present the biggest names in music, film, and television as well as some emerging talents.
Being the frontrunner of a show like this was another big step forward in Kelly’s career. This gifted singer has been gaining fame from her time on American Idol where she emerged winner of the musical contest in 2002. Since then, her musical career has exploded and now, she’s impressing fans with her own TV show too.

Bob Dylan was the original singer of this hit song but many talented singers, including Garth Brooks and Kelly Clarkson herself, have created Make You Feel My Love cover.
In October, Kelly joined singer Ben Platt on stage as, together, they sang their own rendition of the emotional hit song.
Kelly Clarkson becomes emotional when Garth Brooks serenaded her
On The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2019, the singer got the special honor of being serenaded by the famous Garth Brooks who chose the perfect song.
Kelly told Garth, who was a guest in her show, that she always thought the love song was actually Garth’s original track until she learned about Bob Dylan’s version as an adult.
I had no idea that Bob Dylan existed when I was a kid. Nobody around me listened to Bob Dylan, but I sure as hell knew your version. I thought it was a Garth Brooks song like until I was 20!
Garth then performed a short snippet of the ballad and Kelly was seen actively trying to keep the tears from pouring. She didn’t succeed though as she became deeply touched to hear the country star sing to her.
If you would have told me as a kid that that moment would have happened? I’m sorry. I just can’t believe my life sometimes, that you’re just sitting here serenading me.

Kelly Clarkson winning American Idol was a moment of inspiration for many people and seeing how far she has come, one can easily understand why she was so moved by Garth’s performance.
