A mother of a 2-year-old boy agreed to plead guilty to beating her son to death after he ‘intentionally’ wet his bed.

Mother beat her toddler son to death

30-year-old Katrina Shangreaux from South Dakota was proclaimed guilty in a second-degree murder after she beat her 2-year-old son to death. Shangreaux filed the plea agreement on Monday.

Her toddler son Kylen was killed on July 28, 2016. At that day, his mother came home drunk and discovered that her son had wet his bed. The woman was furious, and she started yelling at the little boy.

Later, Katrina said she totally lost control when her 2-year-old son “gave her a sideways look.” The mother began striking Kylen multiple times, throwing him on the ground, and kicking him in the head and stomach.

In her statement, Shangreaux confessed she was drunk and had taken pain medication just before the assault. When the woman realized her son was seriously injured, she cleaned up the boy’s blood and feces before calling the police.

Kylen was taken to a hospital where he died of the fatal injuries. According to the medical statement, his body was all covered in bruises.

Katrina was arrested, but until this time, the woman refused to plead guilty to killing her toddler son. At the moment, Shangreaux is awaiting trial.
