Lynda is an American actress whose career spanned about three decades. She is notably known for famous role as Lisa Casey in the series Mission: Impossible from 1971 to 1973.

Born in San Marcos, Texas, Lynda started her career during the 60s with guest roles on many TV series. She earned a Golden Globe and Emmy Award nomination for her role in Mission: Impossible. The actress finally landed her first major role as Amelia Cole in The Silent Force.

Lynda Day George’s marriage

Though she had a great career, the actress wasn’t so lucky in the love department. She had three unlucky marriages and was also widowed twice.

Lynda was first married to Joseph Pantano in 1963 with a son, named Nicholas. The Mission Impossible star left Joseph in order to marry her The Gentle Rain co-star Christopher George as her second husband.

The pair met on the set of the film in 1970 and tied the knot the same year. George, unfortunately, died from a heart attack at the age of 52 in 1983. After his death, Lynda cut back on her acting by taking fewer roles.

The actress got married for the third time to Doug Cronin in 1990. He died of cancer after the couple were married for 20 years in 2010. Now, she’s retired from the big and small screens and lives in Toluca Lake, California.

Doting mother

The actress is a loving mother of two children from her previous marriages. She welcomed son, Nicky Pantano with her first husband. Her daughter, Krisinda Casey George was born two years after her marriage to husband No.2.

Despite living through hard parts, in a long and glamorous career Lynda Day George has two great gifts, her children.
