Meghan Markle Is Slammed For Being A 'Vogue' Guest Editor, Though Kate Middleton Had The Same Role For 'The Huffington Post' In 2016
This day has finally happened — the rumors about Meghan Markle being the guest editor for Vogue‘s September issue have been confirmed!
Duchess Meghan is @BritishVogue’s first September issue guest editor. Her #ForcesForChange special will highlight female changemakers who are reshaping society and includes her interview with @MichelleObama and a conversation between Prince Harry and @JaneGoodallInst. pic.twitter.com/T6HOvBrAoE

The Sussex Royal account posted a photo and video of the Duchess’s work on the issue, which reportedly took several months. It implies Meghan Markle was working during her pregnancy with baby Archie.
Unfortunately, hateful people slammed the Duchess of Sussex for acting like a Hollywood star and having own column in the Vogue magazine. Social media users brutally criticized her for causing much attention.
However, one of the most famous royal correspondents, Omid Scobie, revealed that Kate Middleton, as well as Prince Charles and Prince Harry, received the same jobs as Meghan Markle.
For instance, the Duchess of Cambridge was the guest editor for one day at The Huffington Post, raising awareness about the topic close to her heart, i.e., mental health among children.
Great to see Duchess Meghan join other senior members of the Royal Family in guest editing at a high profile outlet — Prince Charles co-edited @Countrylifemag in 2018, Prince Harry guest edited @BBCr4today in 2017 and Duchess Kate was guest editor of @HuffPostUK in 2016. pic.twitter.com/ti3G314Mrm

It is totally acceptable for the royals to participate in something similar. Despite hatred and angst, it is actually fascinating to see the British royals to empower the population and encourage to do something outstanding.
Sadly, Meghan Markle faced criticism for doing the same thing as Kate Middleton, her own husband Harry, and father-in-law, the Prince of Wales.

Royal fans were super thankful to Omid Scobie to share such significant facts with the world so that people can stop posting hateful messages about the new mother.
THANK YOU omid❤
Although D.Meghan is the 1st to guest edit @BritishVogue Sep issue, others have contributed or partnered up to give public support to initiatives by publications. I see so many insecurities brought up by seeing trailblazer D.Meghan who’s using her platform well

👏👏👏Thank you. The double standards exhibited when it comes to Meghan doing exactly what other family members have done is sickening.

We are incredibly proud of Duchess Meghan for giving a part of her purity and feminism to cover topics close to her heart.
