Kate Middleton Made Surprise Appearance At RAF 100 Anniversary. Why Did She Break Maternity Leave?
If you thought Kate Middleton would disappear from the spotlight once on maternity leave, you were totally wrong. On July 10, just a day after Louis christening, the royal beauty was spotted celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force (also known as RAF).

The 36-year-old arrived with her husband Prince William, as well as in-laws Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. And without a doubt, Kate made many heads turn, looking stunning in her pale blue coatdress.
But why did she decide to break her maternity leave?
Of course, we don’t know for sure, but it might have something to do with the duchess’ connection to the RAF. Three years ago, she took over some of Prince Philip’s responsibilities and was named Honorary Air Commandant. So, it was natural for her to take an interest in such an important event.
Besides, she was also wearing a gorgeous diamond Dacre brooch, a gift from the RAF. This way, the organization wanted to celebrate Kate’s new role back in 2015.
What is more, the event clearly meant a lot to the duchess’ husband, Prince William. The royal served in the RAF as a pilot, taking part in rescue missions.
But whatever the reason, royal watchers from all over the world were beyond happy to see Kate and other royals attending the event.
Adore the fab 4 💞👍🏻👌🏻
