Margaret Trudeau is the first woman in Canadian history to be both the wife and mother of a prime minister. Away from the world of politics, Margaret is also an author, actress, and former television talk show host. Moreover, she is a doting mother who loves her kids. All of Margaret Trudeau’s children are successful and their mother is proud of them.
After the awkward ‘kiss’ moment between Justin and Melania at G7, Margaret had an interview, and that was when she discussed her opinion about the present and former first ladies of the United States.

During a sit down with The Daily Beast, Justin’s mother gave some advice to Melania on how to be a better First Lady.
She admitted that although she didn’t know the FLOTUS personally, there are some things she wished she could tell her.

But I wish she’d talk to her husband. I think she’s in charge of an anti-bullying campaign. Perhaps she should share some of her wisdom with him.
However, Margaret had nothing but praises for Michelle Obama calling her a proud mother and saying Michelle is her hero.

Margaret Trudeau recalled when she met the Obamas at a state dinner they threw for her son and was impressed by how Sasha and Malia were strong like their mom.
