During the interview, Zak confessed that it was hard dealing with his father’s demise, but for the past three years, he has been doing all he can to not only heal but help others through it.

It’s heartbreaking!

During a sit down with Good Morning Britain, Zak opened up about his father’s pain, with his fifth death anniversary approaching.

He explained that although it was awesome having the legendary Robin Williams as a father, he struggled with having to share him with the world.

He explained that while others saw his happy and jovial side, he saw his father suffering and feeling helpless, and that hurt him.

In his words:

“It was heartbreaking because he still went out and wanted to share his feelings of laughter and humor with the world. While he was suffering and struggling, he still went out and performed.”
