Barbra Streisand is not only the multi-talented singer but she is also a doting mother. She had been married twice in her life but only the first husband gave her a child. In 1963, Streisand tied the knot with actor Elliott Gould and later the legendary singer gave birth to their son, Jason.
Jason once made a TV appearance with his mom, playing her on-screen son in The Prince of Tides. Growing up, he spent a lot of time around big Hollywood players in L.A.
Even though Streisand has only one child, luckily she managed to pass on her talent and music genes to him as Jason turned out to be an amazing singer.
A touching duo
Jason’s career path firstly took him to acting. He appeared in the romantic comedy Say Anything …, as well as played at the Arts Theatre in London. Gould also tried himself in behind-the-scenes work as he wrote, produced, and directed a short film titled Inside Out where his real-life father played his father and his real half-brother portrayed his brother.
In recent years, Jason took interest in singing. He has performed with his famous mother on numerous occasions. The most notable performance is the mother-son duo singing How Deep is the Ocean, which appeared on Streisand’s Partners album.
