RIP, Geoffrey Hayes!

A talented and successful TV presenter, Geoffrey Hayes, has died on September 30 in a hospital surrounded by his family.

Hayes’ manager, Phil Dale, made a sad announcement:

It is with great sadness that the family announces that Geoffrey passed away with his wife, Sarah, and son, Tom, by his side.

Dale added that the grieving family expressed their gratitude to all fans for their support and prayers amid this hard period.

Geoffrey was best-known for his work in the children’s show Rainbow featuring the colorful characters named Zippy, Bungle, and George.

Hayes presented the programme from 1973 to 1992. The show ran for more than 1,000 episodes.
