Donald Jr. is outraged after a racist attack on Kimberly Guilfoyle

Donald Trump Jr. is indignant at the famous magazine after one of its editors, Linda Stasi, made a rude comment about his new girlfriend, Fox News host, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

On her New York Daily News column, Ms. Stasi wrote that Kimberly should be fired from her show because of dating President Trump‘s son. Here is an extract from Stasi’s article:

Kimberly Guilfoyle is an otherwise brilliant woman but when it comes to picking men, though, she’d be better off picking grapes.

Donald was outraged after reading these words. The president’s eldest son wrote in his tweet responding to the columnist’s article:

How did this get past her editors at the @NYDailyNews? Or do they condone this kind of talk? I guess hypocrisy, sexism & racist rhetoric are alive & well there.

Apologies accepted?

After Donald Jr.’s harsh response, Ms. Stasi released a statement with apologies to the Fox News host. The columnist explained the whole situation as a “misunderstanding” and stressed she didn’t mind to offend Ms. Guilfoyle.

Donald and Kimberly reportedly started dating in April, but the couple kept their relationships private. The truth came in thanks to Trump’s ex-wife, Vanessa, who unexpectedly stood by Kimberly’s side amid the scandal. Vanessa wrote on Twitter:

The lengths people will go to attack a woman simply because she’s dating Don. We’ve been separated for over 9 months and respect each other’s decisions & privacy.
