Donald Trump's Favoritism: The Father Compliments Ivanka And Barely Mentions Tiffany
Donald Trump once again showed his parental favoritism in public recently. It seems that the president sometimes cannot do anything with it. Words are just coming out of his mouth uncontrollably.

Successful parent – successful kids
Donald once opened up about his views regarding children of successful people. He told Playboy in 1990 that such kids are more vulnerable to depressions and troubles; thus, they have less chance to succeed in life. He added that ‘they don’t have the right shtick.’
However, many years have passed now, and Donald Trump’s children are doing really great, proving their father to be wrong. Trump’s children are making him proud indeed, and he never stops gushing about it. But like most of the parents, Donald has favorites.

Recent case of favoritism
In his rare recent appearance with his both daughters, Donald Trump said:
Speaking of a job well done, we have two of my daughters here today: Ivanka, who is working hard on infrastructure! Ivanka … and Tiffany!

There were many cases when Trump worshiped his daughter Ivanka, 36. Some of his comments addresses to his daughter made a rather big stir on media. Talking to New York Magazine in 2004, Trump praised Ivanka saying that she is ‘a great, great beauty’ and ‘every guy in the country wants to go out with my daughter.’ Adding to that, he once said:
If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.
How is Tiffany feeling about this?
But what about his other daughter, Tiffany, 24? It seems like Trump often forgets about her, so when he recalls and tries to make amends, it always looks very awkward:
You know I have another daughter, with Marla, named Tiffany? She’s just a beautiful great kid also. But it’s very separate. When you have separate wives, it’s sort of . . . separate.

Despite the obvious favoritism, Tiffany seems to be fine with the way things are. Or at least, she never expressed her jealousy publicly. However, what she did and always does – is praising her father and the older sister on social media.

Parental favoritism is actually a normal thing
Recent studies show that parental favoritism is actually a natural thing, and the favorite child is usually the oldest one. Why is it so? Basically, because parents invest most of their energy and emotions into their first child. And once they’ve invested that much, they most likely won’t stop protecting the investments.

Anyways, the most important thing is to love their children and pay attention to their needs. If they need more love – why not giving it to them?
