Norman Nixon, the 62-year-old retired professional basketball player, and his actress and dancer wife Debbie Allen were in the news last year for celebrating their 32^nd wedding anniversary.

Debbie on the other hand is best known for her work on the 1982 musical-drama television series, "Fame," where she plays the role of a dance teacher Lydia Grant.

Apparently, Debbie Allen is not just a choreographer, television director, and producer. She seems to have a few tricks it takes to keep a home under her sleeves as well.

Mixing Marriage, Business, And Parenthood

Debbie has an amazing career is a well sought after person for her many talents and skills. However, the actress, choreographer, writer, and producer, who has 2 Emmys and a Golden Globe award to her credit, says none of those bring her joy and happiness like her marriage to Norman Nixon and being a mother.

Together with her husband, the 2 time NBA All Star with more assists than any other player who was active before he retired from the Los Angeles Clippers, they have 2 children – daughter, Vivian Nichole, and son, Norman Ellard Nixon Jr.

To celebrate their anniversary, the couple chattered a yacht in Marina del Rey and dubbed the celebration the #WhiteParty.
