Country Music Star, Blake Shelton, Now 41, Admits To Missing Out On Not Having Kids Sooner
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been trying to have a baby for over a year now, but the plans seem to be on hold nowadays.
Over the course of 2017, there have been at least two reports that Blake and Gwen had tied the knot, but it was regarded as false by celebrities’ representatives. Many sources suggest that Stefani and Shelton are putting off having a baby together until they get married.

The celebrity couple got together in 2015, but still haven’t gotten married, despite continuous media speculation since 2016. Gwen and Blake met on The Voice, where they were both judges, and even recorded a song Go Ahead and Break My Heart together.
Blake reevaluated his life and realized what was missing.
The famous country singer has always been dedicated to his career, and directed most of his energy into songwriting and performing. Shelton’s efforts always bore the fruit: He has multiple platinum and gold albums, and his tracks often reach the tops of the charts. His personal life seemed to be in check also. Blake was married to a fellow singer Miranda Lambert from 2011 till 2015, but the couple never had children.
It wasn’t until Shelton met Gwen Stefani and her kids when he realized that he might’ve missed out on not starting a family sooner. Gwen herself has three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Blake is actively involved in raising Stefani’s kids and enjoys spending time with them.

In the recent interview on the Today show, Blake shared his thoughts about putting off having kids. Shelton was asked what was it like to suddenly be accepted in a family with three kids, and how it came as a bit of a shock at first. "Wow, I really missed out on a lot, you know", country singer recalled his reaction.

Blake Shelton always seemingly expressed his desire to have kids, even when he was still married to Miranda Lambert. So why did the couple split?
"Miranda never really believed he wanted kids as bad as he made it seem", sources reported. They were both constantly busy in the studio or other projects. She was working hard on trying to lose weight and keep her career going, while Blake was focused on The Voice and his music.
It’s heartbreaking to hear that Lambert and Shelton separated, because she wasn’t confident in him as a future father, considering how Blake is now. We really hope that Miranda is able to find someone she can be happy with, and Shelton starts his family with Stefani in the near future.
