Basil cuttings have the ability to regenerate the crucial part of the plant – the roots. How do we stimulate this process? Well, let’s just pour some lukewarm water into a jar or a glass and stick our cuttings in it. Leave them there for a few days. It is possible that not all of them would grow roots, but we need the ones that do.

Get busy planting

Now, just get some pots full of soil and start the planting process. Which soil is the best? Use some compost and make sure the pH is neutral. How much light do these plants need? About 6 hours daily, which is not too bad.

Enjoy spicing up your meals with this awesome container grown green.
