At 45, Ryan Seacrest Is Still Hoping To Find True Love And Won't Settle For Anything Less
Ryan Seacrest has made a name for himself as a prolific on-air personality and producer. He is, by many standards, a successful man. But what’s holding him back from settling down despite being well into his 40s? As it turns out, he’s simply a man who knows exactly what he wants.

Is Ryan Seacrest married? That’s a question that might have popped up in your head more than once if you’re a fan. You may be wondering about this baring in mind Ryan’s romantic history.

The answer to the question is technically, ‘no.’ However, Ryan has been linked to a few women over the years. Let’s take a look at some of his high-profile relationships.
- Ryan Seacrest and model Shayna Taylor were hot and heavy for a little while there. They initially got together in 2013 but broke up a few months later. They then reconnected in 2016, however, the relationship ended in February 2019.
- The TV host has also been linked to actress Teri Hatcher after the pair were spotted sharing a kiss on a beach in March 2006. In an interview with Oprah, Teri gave the impression that the kiss was no big deal. The actress said she and Ryan ended things shortly after that.
- Ryan Seacrest and former girlfriend Julianne Hough seemed like the perfect couple for a little while. They dated between 2010 and 2013. She was so happy with him that she once told Us Weekly she felt lucky to be dating her "first celebrity crush."

What’s holding him back from marriage?
In 2017, Ryan confided in his co-host Kelly Ripa on LiveWithKellyAndRyan about being close to getting engaged. He revealed that he had seriously considered proposing to someone and taking the marital plunge but he was glad he didn’t.
I did get close [to getting engaged] and I didn’t do it and it was the right move. But I love the idea of marriage.
The 45-year-old TV host’s response gave fans the assurance that when he does find the right woman, he won’t mind settling down. He has also opened up about being inspired by his parents’ longlasting marriage and revealed that he would love to have something similar.

He told People in 2014:
I look at what my mom and dad have had for 40-plus years – a fantastic relationship and great marriage. Someday I’d like that. They’re my role models.
A complicated relationship with Shayna Taylor
Even though he never explicitly stated that Shayna was the woman he considered getting engaged to, it’s a pretty safe bet considering the peculiar complications of their relationship.
When the relationship was blooming, Ryan revealed to People that he and Shayna were "very in sync." They even went as far as living together. Shayna told the publication that they decided to get back together after their initial breakup in 2014 because they felt they had both become mature enough to handle a serious relationship.
After breaking up in February of last year, the couple ignited rumors that they had rekindled their love in December when Ryan told UsWeekly that Shayna could very well be his New Year kiss.
Ryan Seacrest may be a single man right now but he does plan to get married at some point. His positive outlook tells us that this is indeed a possibility. Will Shayna Taylor be the lucky woman? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Meanwhile, he continues to focus on his career which is going pretty well so far.
