This is the season of fights in Hollywood. First, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B had a scuffle, which resulted in some minor injuries. And now, Tom Arnold is accusing Roma Downey and her husband, Mark Burnett, of attacking him.

What went down

The fight, reportedly caused by a disagreement over Arnold’s new series on Viceland, The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, went down at the pre-Emmy party in LA.

A tweet sent out by Arnold claimed that Burnett went "apeshit" on him and tried to choke him.

But this does not add up, because almost at the same time his tweet went out, Roma also shared a photo of her injured hand, saying the 57-year-old comedian tried to ambush Burnett, who produces The Apprentice.

Arnold is suing

It’s hard to determine who is telling the truth, but Arnold has slammed Roma’s story and arm injury as untrue, and said he was filing a report with the LAPD, suing for defamation.

He also claimed a tape of what went down is available, and suggested that Roma had sustained the injury long before the altercation. So far, reports of the eyewitnesses, including Alyson Hannigan, have not confirmed stories by either party, and opinions online are divided.

Seems @pattonoswalt (Yes, that one) was there and posted a photo with @TomArnold after the incident. Burnett and Downy left immediately after. Victims don’t tend to flee, they tend to call the cops, which Arnold seems to have immediately done.
