Trendsetting Duchess! Kate Middleton Proves Plaid Is Her Favorite Pattern As She Honors Holocaust Survivors

The new year has just started but Duchess Kate is already keeping herself super busy. The royal launched her biggest project yet – a national survey called 5 Big Questions.
The survey aimed at encouraging people to discuss early childhood as it is a ‘crucial’ time in children’s development. It’s the biggest poll that was ever done in the UK so the Duchess is doing an impressive job with it.

Kate Middleton started her work proving that fashion is still on her mind as she appeared at MiniBrum to launch her project in the cutest outfit ever – black pants and a shirt with a zigzag print but it’s not her favorite pattern in clothes.

The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her kind heart and love of plaid print when she honored the Holocaust Memorial Day by meeting two Holocaust survivors, Yvonne Bernstein and Steven Frank.
Kensington Palace kindly shared a few official photographs which will be included in the exhibition to mark 75 years since the end of the terrible Nazi Persecution.
Middleton chose a modest outfit as she donned a long plaid skirt and a high neck jumper. The Duchess accessorized her look with a special coin necklace by Daniella Draper. The Midnight Moon features:
- a little diamond as a star;
- a writing that says ‘Love.’
It couldn’t be more perfect for the occasion, don’t you think?

The Duchess is known to be a fashion inspiration for many. Those, who have been following her for a long time, know that Kate absolutely adores plaid print. In 2012, she sported a plaid outfit to celebrate St. Andrew’s day.
