Melania Trump had ‘Been Best’ for a year now. The First Lady’s celebrated one year of her Be Best campaign and she is ready to continue achieving new highs with her initiative.

The First Lady has been working hard at promoting well-being and positive social media image among children, yet we have to admit that no matter what good deed she does, a lot of us focus on what she is wearing when she’s doing it.

Hold off your righteous anger. Melania Trump is a gorgeous woman and she has a very classy yet sophisticated sense of style so if you have even a fraction of interest in fashion, you’d find yourself Googling her recent outfits. And you won’t be alone!

A few days ago, Mrs. Trump opened the White House doors to a group of Safety Patrol students from Florida’s school so let’s talk about her outfit. The First Lady set a new 2020 winter tartan trend with her smart look.

She donned a soft grey sweater which she paired with a stylish over-the-knee tartan skirt. Melania teamed up her attire with a pair of high heels. The First Lady looked like a cross between a teacher and a businesswoman and we absolutely love her look!

First meeting

It’s not the first time FLOTUS met with West Gate Elementary school students as a part of her Be Best campaign. The first time took place in March last year when Mrs. Trump was the one who paid the visit.

She donned a pretty spring dress, which featured:

• black vertical stripes;
• waist-accentuating belt;
• white buttons.

It’s hard to tell which look we prefer as they are very different, yet season-appropriate but we have to say that the First Lady looks incredible in grey! She often wears patterned pieces and that plaid skirt is one of our favorites. What do you think? Which look do you prefer?
