While people were getting ready for Oscars 2020, Jane Fonda continued her fight for climate change. Just days before the event, she was spotted in L.A. at a protest she organized herself. But nothing, including arrests, prevented her from walking that red carpet.

Jane Fonda showed off what true beauty looks like as she appeared at the Oscars in a sensational red dress. At 82, the legendary actress and activist can boast a figure many 20-something can only dream about.

Jane Fonda also rocked new short grey hair that paired perfectly well with her entire look. The ruby-red number is from Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture collection. Fonda teamed up the long-sleeved sparkling gown with hoop earrings and a red coat with which she walked on a stage.

Some eagle-eyed fashionistas might have noticed that the dress looked familiar. And they wouldn’t be wrong! Fonda wore the pretty number 6 years ago at 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival and she looked just as gorgeous then as she does now.

We love how despite wearing the same dress, both of Jane’s looks appear slightly different thanks to her hairstyle and accessories. Fonda is such a big inspiration for many of us and we are glad she was able to make the Oscars this year! We love that she decided to recycle her old dress – we can’t even fit in into our 2-year-old jeans!
