It’s not a secret that Queen Elizabeth gave birth to all of her children in Buckingham Palace. Home births used to be an old tradition for the royal family and the monarch just simply followed the footsteps of other royal women who gave birth before her.

Princess Diana was the first who decided to opt for the hospital. She gave birth to both William and Harry at the private Lindo Wing and Duchess Kate did the same with her own three children.

But what option will Meghan Markle choose?

She might take the Queen’s example

It’s possible that the Duchess of Sussex will decide to change things up and return to the Queen’s birth plan. Royal author Katie Nicholl once said that Meghan actually might favor home birth.

Her words sparked a heated discussion online with some people claiming that it’s not the best choice for the Duchess while others were saying that it’s her body and she can do whatever she wants with it.

Now, as the due date is getting closer, same rumors have started floating again and insiders allegedly report that Meghan is, in fact, considering a home birth.

However, it’s a very big risk as the Duchess is having her first baby at 37 years old. Yet, it was said that the pregnant royal practices yoga every day and is in extremely good health.

She has, reportedly, “sailed” through her pregnancy so she might not be seeing any reasons why she couldn’t give birth at her new home, Frogmore cottage.

But should we believe those claims?
