The actress admits it wasn’t easy to play the role as it’s full of anger and violence. It was destructive for her both mentally and physically as she had to live it though.

However, the role brought into her life new people, such as Laura Dern, another leading actress in the series Big Little Lies. Nicole Kidman admits that she didn’t know Laura that much before they started playing in the series together. But over the time, they got so close together that now, she calls her one of her best friends.

By the way, one of her real-life best friends, Reese Witherspoon, also plays one of the leading roles in the series.
