Alex Trebek is one of the most famous personas. This Canadian-American TV host is best known for his appearance in NBC’s game show Jeopardy!. Oh, by the way, Betty White has a crush on him!

Trebek corroborates that he has success, career, and happiness because of his lovely wife, Jean Currivan Trebek, and family. The two got married in 1990 after TV host’s divorce with Elaine Trebek Kares.

The couple has two amazing children: a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Emily. They all seem close and happy with one another. 

The marriage of 29 years 

Don’t deny this, but we all dream of having a devoted spouse, great family, and joy till the last breath. Alex Trebek can actually boast by all of these things as his head is in the clouds.

The game-show guru claims that he’s extremely satisfied with his wife, but regrets one thing about their relationship. No, not bad habits, mistakes or conflicts. He regrets of not meeting her earlier (we’re almost crying):

Before tying the knot, Alex and Jean were friends, but still had a thing for each other. Even though they have own ups and downs as every normal couple, the partners are blessed to know that they are "in each other’s courtyard.” 

The two also think that staying in together rather than constantly going out makes their love tighter and marriage of almost 30 years stronger. Ah, we kindly envy them!

Anything for the wife!

After changing the style and making beard in summer 2018, Alex Trebek shaved it on the following month, and it was a complete relief to his wife. The Jeopardy! long-time TV host conceded that his wife didn’t like the beard, and thus he had to remove it to satisfy his sweetheart. In fact, fans voted whether he should keep the beard or not on social media, but he announced the winner – his Jean.
