Incredible! Newborn Arrives With Outstretched Arms After 4 Days Of Labor
Baby Sullivan entered this world with his arms outstretched.
A 33-year-old Angel Taylor was expected to be due in the middle of March. But when having one of her routine checks with a doctor, the mom of three found out that her blood pressure was too high, so she needed to give birth to her baby son a week earlier.
Taylor was panicking because she wasn’t prepared to deliver her baby. She told in her interview with PEOPLE:
I didn’t have the car seat in the car, I hadn’t finished packing.
Taylor quickly got to the hospital with no dilation, so she started receiving small doses of a hormone pitocin that doctors use in order to cause or strengthen labor contractions to make the childbirth happen.

Doctors were warried that Angel could get a uterine rupture because she previously gave birth via C-section, so they tried to induce the labor less aggressively as to not to get any complications.
The doctor knew it was going to be a slow-going process and he didn’t want to be too aggressive with the induction. He wanted us to be safe. He didn’t want me to rupture and he didn’t want the baby to be stressed out. He purposely wanted it to be a slow process.
Taylor had to stay in the hospital for days, but she still was dilated only four centimeters.
It was definitely an emotional process. It was so long and so hard.
When the delivery process finally started, Angel had to give birth via C-section again.
It was really hard for them to get him out. He was really stuck in there. It turns out I had a lot of scar tissue in my lower uterus and it was very tight and it wasn’t opening up so he was kind of stuck in that.
Finally, the baby Sullivan arrived with a wide smile and outstretched arms.
I thought it was just so funny because he would be like that in my belly, he was always stretching. We’d tell him, ‘You’d have so much more room to stretch if you just came out!” And when he came out, that’s exactly what he did. It was a big relief. We were worried how he would do … He was in really good shape!
After few more days in the hospital, happy mom was ready to take her newborn son home.
He is the chillest baby. He is really sweet and very calm. He hardly ever cries. He just loves to snuggle and is just very sweet.
