Liam Hemsworth's Sister-In-Law Elsa Pataky Has His Back Saying "He Deserves Much Better" Than Miley Cyrus
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus announced their split in August, less than a year after tying the knot. They had been together for more than 10 years and it doesn’t come as a surprise that their split affected not only two of them but their families as well.

For instance, Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, slammed his former wife Miley Cyrus for her behavior during a press conference in Madrid. Pataky, who has been married to Avengers actor Chris Hemsworth for nearly a decade, was asked how her brother-in-law was doing after a breakup with Miley Cyrus.
Her surprising reply appeared to take a swipe at Cyrus, who she once considered a good friend.
“My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you’ve dedicated ten years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well, he’s a strong boy and he deserves the best,"
– she said to Spanish outlet Hola.
"I think he deserves much better,”
– she added.

Interestingly, but the couple’s split also ruined their friendship as Miley and Elsa had been close friends with 26-year-old Cyrus. They had even got matching tattoos as a tribute to their friendship around three years ago. The two would often spend time together in Byron Bay and documented several girls’ trips on social media. Well, now everything seems to be forgotten.
Pataky also said that her 29-year-old brother-in-law is being supported well by his tight-knit family.
"You always find support in your family, and he’s joined at the hip with his brother, who has been there to give all the strength he needed,"
– she added.
And while Miley seems to be in a happy relationship with her new boyfriend Cody Simpson, we do hope Liam feels people’s love and support. Millions of great women surely dream of such a brilliant guy as Liam and we are pretty sure he’ll meet someone special one day. Meanwhile, it’s nice to know his family is there to help him cope with this dark time in his life. Broken heart needs time. Can’t wait to hear about Liam’s new love!
