The Countess of Wessex’s fashion has become one of the much-loved ones among people. However, being fashionable as a royal is quite tricky, no matter how easy and cool it might seem to us. In a Sunday Express interview, Sophie opened up about difficulties in terms of style within the royalty.

I remember having a chat with somebody and them saying, ‘You know you’ve got to recognise that this is part and parcel of what you’re doing. When you walk into a room, yes, people are going to talk about what you’re doing there, but they’re also going to want to know what you’re wearing.

In 2015, Vogue listed her as one of the best-dressed females on the international level, even though she has never had a stylist. Impressive, right?

Countess of Wessex’s news

It seems like Prince Edward’s wife of 20 years is set to take more royal duties after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s departure from the royalty. Yesterday, Sophie visited Wales to open new facilities at the University of Surrey.

The Countess of Wessex recreated her own outlook. She stunned in a pink mini dress, a creme collarless coat, and a pair of black boots.

The 55-year-old looked even more stylish with a pearl-encrusted black clutch bag, a pair of gorgeous earrings, and a loose hairstyle for such an important occasion.

She wore the identical outfit for her 50th birthday at the Tomorrow’s People Social Enterprises at St Anselm’s Church in 2015.

The new Health Sciences Institute at the University is named after a doctor who died of an aggressive form of cancer in 2016 named Kate Granger. Before the demise, she created a social media campaign called #hellomynameis — you can see Sophie’s name tag on her coat. This initiative was launched to encourage better interaction between doctors and patients.
