This year pastry chefs all across the Disney Parks around the world have baked thousands of pieces of gingerbread to craft spectacular holiday houses. From a holiday castle to a life-sized gingerbread house, here are some of the creations on display this year.

1. The Disneyland California Grand Hotel
The Disneyland California Grand features a gingerbread replica of the hotel. It also includes a hidden Mickey, as well as the chipmunks Chip and Dale. The 7 feet tall house also has a sign, with the ingredients and amounts used to build it.
The Grand Californian hotel during Christmas time is my favorite because of the Gingerbread house that they make every year????. It’s all made of gingerbread! They also put the ingredients and amount they use on the side so people can know 🙂 #disneyland #grandcalifornianhotel

2. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
This year, the Disney Grand Floridian Resort features a life-size gingerbread house. It was built with over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread, using a classic Austrian recipe. The holiday house also has penguins from Mary Poppins.

3. Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort
Rather than a gingerbread house, the Disney Yacht and Beach Club Resort features a Lilo & Stitch-themed carousel. The carousel contains horses, holiday characters, and gingerbread snowmen and snowflakes. There are also 18 hidden Mickeys to commemorate each year this design has been featured in the resort.

4. Disney’s Contemporary Resort
The Contemporary Resort features an 18 foot tall Cinderella castle. The castle is built from thousands of gingerbread blocks, rolled fondant, and modeling chocolate, and features oversized gingerbread cookies, depicting Cinderella and Prince Charming.
