'The Munsters' Marilyn, Beverly Owen, Has Passed Away At 81 Due To Ovarian Cancer

The morbid disease cancer had taken away another legend. Beverly Owen was battling it for almost 2 years after her ovarian tumor diagnosis. 

The iconic actress was best known for her 13 episodes long role of Marilyn Munster in The Munsters. The classic sitcom had first aired in 1964. Since her High School days, Beverly was already performing for television, theatre, and many radio programs. 

Expiry at 81

Beverly Owen’s costar on the TV show, Butch Patrick, who portrayed the character of Eddie Munster, announced her demise on his Facebook on Sunday.

Her daughter Polly later confirmed the news to MZ. She disclosed that the actress had taken her last breath on February 21, while being surrounded by friends and family at her home in Vermont. She was 81.

Beverly was actually diagnosed with ovarian cancer way back in 2017, but she kept her struggle private. Beside Polly, Owen is survived by her daughter Kate as well. 

Fans paid their respects to her

Her countless followers expressed their sorrow at her loss on Twitter. They commemorated the late actress in good words and prayed for her soul.
