XXXTentacion's Girlfriend Gives Birth To The Late Rapper's Son And Reveals The Baby Boy's Name

U.S. rapper XXXTentacion was wildly popular, especially among young people. The musician’s life was cut short when he was shot multiple times as he was leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 18, 2018.

He was only 20, and that reminds you of another rapper who was killed at the height of his career.

Many considered XXXTentacion a controversial figure, but to his family, he was a loving and caring young man. And, in their minds, he would have made a great dad.

XXXTentacion’s GF gives birth to his son

The rapper’s girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez, was pregnant when he was killed. On January 26, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, the family has confirmed.

The late rapper’s son, Gekyume Onfroy (XXXTentacion’s real name was Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), got a symbolic first name. The musician’s mom, Cleopatra Bernard, and the baby boy’s mom said in a statement:

Gekyume’s name is derived from a word X created prior to his passing, which means ‘a different state’ or ‘next’ universe of thought. XXXTentacion specifically chose this name for his first born son; his family is honored to fulfill his wish and shower baby Gekyume with love.

Back in June, the late rapper’s girlfriend shared the news about her pregnancy on Instagram with the caption: "He left us a final gift."

Fans’ touching tributes

XXXTentacion’s fans are thrilled about his baby’s arrival! Gekyume’s birth elicited mixed emotions, as he won’t get to know his father. But the rapper’s family has a part of him, and that’s even more important than his musical legacy.

XXXTentacion’s artistic fans have created some touching tributes, picturing him and his newborn son together:

These pictures are so bittersweet, aren’t they?
