Woman Gets Fired After Blocking A Black Man From Entering His Own Apartment

According to NBC News, the poll depicts that 64% of Americans consider racism as one of the major problems in the American community.

An African-American male babysitter faces racism in the street

One of such incidents occurred when Georgia woman called the police and reported on the black male babysitter.

Corey Lewis, an African-American victim, claimed that the woman harassed him while babysitting white kids. A concerned woman came up to him and asked whether the children were okay. Mr. Lewis was a bit puzzled and asked:

Why wouldn’t they be okay?

The stranger followed him all the way to the house, where the police already waited for his arrival. Logically, the law enforcement officers realized that Corey wasn’t the offender there, and thus didn’t do anything to him or children.

It never occurred to me that someone would see us and decide to take such judgment that she took. In 2018, prejudiced people exist. We are still being judged, we are still being discriminated against.

And we do agree with him because some individuals will never get tired of judging someone and doing these horrible things.

A woman gets sacked after blocking a black man from own loft apartment

Two days ago a white woman, Hilary Brooke Thornton, got sacked from real estate company after preventing a black man, D’Arreion Toles, from entering his accommodation in St. Louis. The woman physically stopped him in the entrance door blocking him to enter the building. He nervously told her:

You’re blocking me into my building, it’s my building as well, so can you just get out of my way. I live here and your blocking my way. I’ve already buzzed in.

Ms. Thornton demanded to show the key-fob similar to hers as a proof of his living there. Mr. Toles tried to be patient and went to the elevator, where she joined him as well.

The woman didn’t stop following him straight to his front door and annoy by constant questions. Later, she called to the police, and they arrived at Toles’s apartment after 30 minutes. He recorded a Facebook video showing all this biased situation.

Tribeca Luxury Apartments clarified that the incident did not occur in one of their properties, and Ms. Thornton was soon terminated for such behavior.

Mr. Toles’s video went viral and was watched over 4 million times. He later added that he wouldn’t report or take any legal action. He still showed his humanity and kindness aside from her.

I am not mad at her. I am not upset with her. I am not going to go after her legally or anything like that. I wish her the best. I would still have a conversation with her.

God, please, protect us from such ignorant people.

Love and support to Mr. Toles

Please, guys, take a lesson from this embarrassingly shattering incident. No one deserves to be treated this way, and racism should stop by all means.
