Wife Pranked Her Husband By Putting Him Up For Sale On EBay

There are moments when partners realize that their relationship is over. In this case, the woman got tired of her husband and resolved to pull a prank on him by "selling" him online and, in addition to that, at a pretty low price. The idea is undoubtedly very original and sounds more like a joke than a real story. Yet, this is the kind of story that must be told!

The 40-year-old Hamburg resident got an idea to put her husband up for sale on the renowned online e-commerce site eBay. The starting price was $20. In the follow-up message, the woman stated that even though they had been married for 7 years, she got sick of this relationship and she lost connection with her partner.

Here’s what she wrote on the website:

Dear women who may be interested. Over the first two days of Christmas I have realised that we simply don’t belong together anymore. I would like to give up my husband. I am happy to negotiate the price. But no exchange. Please send me inquiries over email.

The post on the website had a caption "Husband, used". It sure had a lot of responses; however, nobody offered a real deal. A little later, the woman confessed that she wasn’t going to be dramatic, she just posted the advertisement for fun.

She also admitted that her husband didn’t have any idea about the post until he read about it in a newspaper. What’s also important is that there was no picture of him on the website. The advert only contained the woman’s statement and a picture of their Christmas tree. Therefore, it’s easy to believe that it was all just a little joke.

Anyway, the woman clearly has a very resourceful sense of humor! What do you think about such an advert? Share your opinion in the comments below.
